About Me

Balancing a stressful job with a busy family life is challenging. I know just how emotionally and physically exhausting it can be, because I’ve been there too.

As a child I was always sporty and active – I loved dancing, gymnastics and swimming but following an Achilles rupture aged 11, I was told I would never exercise again. I was devastated. As a teenager I turned to partying and alcohol, desperately seeking those missing endorphins and then found myself as a single mum, working day and night to provide for my baby.

At 20, I tentatively tried an aerobics class – it felt amazing to move my body again and my love of exercise was instantly reignited. I trained to become one of the first qualified Pilates teachers in the South East and that was the start of my fitness career. My studies then moved onto NLP, life coaching and behaviour change.

But life throws unimaginable curveballs and at 40 I split up with my long-term fiancé and ruptured my Achilles tendon again. I thought my career was over.

Rather than wallow in self-pity, I used a positive mindset to push myself (as safely as I could) to repair my body. Even my doctors were amazed and within six months I was climbing Ben Nevis and sky diving! But it didn’t stop there – I went backpacking  and volunteering around Costa Rica and moved to the fantastic city of Brighton, discovering the joy of early morning beach walks and even overcoming my fear of sea swimming!

Now in my mid-forties, I feel more complete than ever – but it’s a continual journey and like everyone, I have bad days. Using my professional expertise and personal experience I can help you to learn how to start embracing some meaningful and lasting lifestyle changes, so you can get back to feeling like ‘you’ again.

Services/How I Work

We’re all different so my approach is entirely bespoke and built around your needs. We’ll start our work together by losing any nagging beliefs that are holding you back. Then we’ll begin to build up your confidence and self-esteem. We’ll find out where you haven’t succeeded before, to identify those sticking points and create a lifelong blueprint for meaningful change.

And along the way, you’ll receive support, accountability – and buckets of encouragement to ensure you can maintain those changes.

1:1 Life Coaching

Women deserve to feel the best they can. My aim is to empower you  to put yourself  first, to learn to rebalance your life, to feel better, perform better and live life with more confidence and zest.

My approach is down to earth and non-judgmental. I break things down into simple, jargon-free forms so that the process of lasting change becomes effortless and not overwhelming.

Through my 1:1 coaching sessions I work with you to create sustainable long-term change (I don’t believe in quick fixes) so if your current strategies for your life and goals are no longer working, I can give you the guidance and motivation needed to get you back on track – and beyond.

1:1 Nutrition Coaching

Over the course of 8 weeks, this bespoke  programme will build new habits to support good health and wellbeing by gradually adopting a healthier way of eating and a new way of thinking about food.

Whether it’s picking at the kids’ fishfingers or craving that bottle of wine, I’ll give you some lifelong behaviour change tools to rewire your thoughts and beliefs and build a more resilient mindset.

The course is delivered online via Zoom, and through daily app prompts, weekly tasks and 1:1 coaching calls with me, you’ll have access to all the tools and support you need to cultivate a balanced, healthy lifestyle and mental outlook that is realistic and sustainable.

It’s easy to make excuses – “I’m too tired to cook from scratch” or “one more glass of wine won’t hurt”…but it’s never too late to make a difference to the way you look and feel you can start to live your best life. This programme will help to get you back on track even when life gets hectic, ensuring you get some much-needed accountability and advice when you need that extra little nudge. It’s about progress, not perfection.

1:1 Personal Training

With over 20 years’ experience as a fitness professional, Bootcamp instructor and Pilates teacher, I can help get you moving – and enjoy it!

Whether you’re looking to get fit and toned for the first time, getting back to fitness after having children or looking for a fresh approach, together we’ll find an exercise programme to suit your fitness levels and goals.

All sessions are bespoke – no two will be the same – and designed with you in mind, to ensure you grow stronger, toned and more body confident. And I’ll be there to provide support, accountability and encouragement along the way.
